How it works

  • 1. Press "order now"

    Choose the lenses you want, upload your prescription document or enter it manually. Pay by card or Klarna.

  • 2. Receive box

    Get a prepaid shipping box. Pack your frames in the box and drop off at your nearest Postnord service point.

  • 3. Wait about 10 days

    Our lens lab will now make your new lenses, mount them in your frames and send them back to you.

  • 4. New lenses!

    Enjoy your new lenses and pat yourself on the back for doing something good both for your wallet and the planet.

What does your pricing look like?

Our prices are fixed which means you don't pay more if your powers are high. We also include scratch-resistant, anti-reflective and dirt-repellent lens coatings as well as shipping without extra charge.

Can you swop lenses in all types of frames?

We can swop lenses in basically all frames except sport frames with curved lenses. If your frames are very old or worn, however, problems may arise. If we judge that the frame is fragile, we will inform you of the risk before we swop the lenses, so that you can decide whether we should try or not.

What types of lenses do you offer?

We offer most types of lenses such as single-vision, progressives, computer lenses or non-prescription lenses. You can choose whether you want clear lenses, sun lenses (with or without polarization) or light-responsive lenses. How can you be so cheap compared to traditional opticians?

We have worked in the optical industry for a long time and know that lenses are often sold with extremely high margins. The cost of the lens material, manufacturing the lens and fitting it into the frame is not as expensive as the traditional opticians would have you believe. By operating our business online, without expensive retail locations, warehouses or extensive marketing costs, we can offer the same high quality lenses at significantly lower prices.

What happens if my frame gets lost during shipping or breaks during mounting?

If your frame should, against all odds, be lost during delivery or get damaged when new lenses are fitted (which is very uncommon), we will always do our best to find a fair and safe solution.

New frame (maximum 1 month old)

If your frame is no more than 1 month old, we will compensate up to 100% of the purchase price, with a maximum of 2,500 SEK.

To be eligible for compensation, you must be able to provide a receipt that is no more than 1 month old, and the frame must be in very good condition, showing only minimal signs of use.

We will also refund the cost of the lenses you ordered via swopti.co, provided that the lenses are returned to us.

Alternatively, you may send in a new frame, and we will re-lens that one instead.

Used or older frame

Lens replacement in used or older frames is done at your own risk.

It is very uncommon for a frame to break during lens replacement, but since materials can age and become more brittle over time, there is always a certain risk.

We will however refund the cost of the lenses you ordered via swopti.co, provided that the lenses are returned to us.

Alternatively, you may send in a new frame, and we will make new lenses for that frame.

Important additional information

Swopti reserves the right to assess the condition of the frame in the event of damage.

Even if a receipt is provided, compensation may be adjusted if the frame is clearly worn or if other circumstances raise doubts regarding the purchase date or the condition of the frame.

What is your return policy?

As the lenses are specially ordered for you and your frames, we are unfortunately unable to accept returns. However, we guarantee that the lenses are correctly made according to your prescription and specifications you give us. If there are any inaccuracies in the powers of the lenses, we will refund you or offer to re-make the lenses.

Do you have a warranty on the lenses?

We guarantee that the lenses are correctly made according to the rprescriptions and specifications you give us. If there are any inaccuracies in the powers, we will refund you or offer to redo the lenses. Also included is a 12-month warranty on lenses and treatments.

How do I send my frames to you?

Once you place your order, we'll send you a package with everything you need to easily pack and ship your frame to us.
