    Choose the lenses you want, upload your prescription document or enter it manually. Pay by card or Klarna.

  • 2. Receive box

    Receive a prepaid shipping box. Pack your frames in the box and drop off at your nearest Postnord pickup point.

  • 3. Wait about 10 days

    Our Swedish lens lab will produce your new lenses, fit them into your frames, and send them back to you. Ready in about 10 business days.

  • 4. New lenses!

    Enjoy your new lenses and pat yourself on the back for doing something good both for your wallet and the planet.

Can you replace lenses in any glasses frame?

Yes, in almost every case. We replace lenses in frames of all shapes, materials and styles — whether it's an old favorite, a flea market find, or a new frame you picked up online.

The only exceptions are sports frames with curved lenses, flat lenses with no curvature, and very cheap frames where the lenses are typically glued in and not designed for eyeglass lens replacement.

We offer most types of lenses, such as single-vision-, progressive-, computer or non-prescription lenses. You can also choose between clear, photochromic or sun lenses.

Frequently asked questions about eyeglass lens replacements

Is it okay to send in new frames?

Yes, absolutely. You can send in both new and used frames for lens replacement with Swopti.

The important thing is that the frames are in reasonably good condition and are not:

  1. Sports frames with very curved lenses
  2. Very cheap frames from low-cost fashion retailers
  3. Frames with completely flat lenses

If it turns out that your frames cannot be re-lensed, we will of course send them back to you and issue a refund.

How much does it cost to swop the lenses in my glasses?

Our prices are fixed which means you don't pay more if your powers are high. We also include scratch-resistant, anti-reflective and dirt-repellent lens coatings as well as shipping without extra charge. All prices are per pair.

Lenses:

Single-vision lenses: SEK 1899
Progressive lenses: SEK 3499
Non-prescription lenses: SEK 999

Additional coatings:

Sun lenses: SEK 300
Light-responsive: SEK 1,000
Blue light filtering: SEK 500
Polarization for sun lenses: SEK 500

Can you swop lenses in all types of frames?

We can swop lenses in basically all frames except sport frames with curved lenses. If your frames are very old or worn, however, problems may arise. If we judge that the frame is fragile, we will inform you of the risk before we swop the lenses, so that you can decide whether we should try or not.

Where do you make the lenses?

Our lenses are made at our lab outside of Stockholm, Sweden. It is a premium supplier with extensive experience.

How can you be so cheap compared to traditional opticians?

We have worked in the optical industry for a long time and know that lenses are often sold with extremely high margins. The cost of the lens material, manufacturing the lens and fitting it into the frame is not as expensive as the traditional opticians would have you believe. By operating our business online, without expensive retail locations, warehouses or extensive marketing costs, we can offer the same high quality lenses at significantly lower prices.

Can you swop in sunglasses?

Absolutely! It is possible to order either prescription- or non-prescription sunlenses, with or without polarisation.
